A notable feature of this home is what the clients dubbed “the Great Room” for its 7-metre-high ceilings, large open steel trusses incased by timber veneer with feature strapping.
“The walls are also lined with timber veneer stained cladding. The polished concrete floor blends seamlessly with the large stone clad fireplace at one end, the billiard table at the other, and a large bar in the centre which was hand-made from a solid trunk of a Coolabah tree sourced from ‘the back of Bourke’”.
