Layton Homes: HIA 2012 Award Winner

Layton Homes Awarded

Best Custom Built Home

Honour from Housing Industry Association

Layton Homes took top honours by receiving the prestigious 2012 Best Custom Built Home by the Housing Industry Association (HIA) in its annual Australian Housing Awards program for Victoria.

"I am absolutely thrilled with this award," says Gisborne home builder Ian Layton. "We were up against some very tough competition in the large and rapidly growing North West region."

Ian Layton has built custom designed homes in the Macedon Ranges for the last ten years and is the first Macedon Ranges home builder to win a coveted HIA Best Custom Home Built award.

The award-winning custom home (in the $350,000 to $5000,000 category) is located in Gisborne in the upmarket Mulbarton Estate and was well received by the owners of the new home.

The HIA Award is a renowned mark of excellence in the residential building industry, showcasing building professionals across Australia and celebrates the highest level of achievement of HIA members operating in all sectors of the home building industry. HIA is Australia's largest residential building organisation, with over 40,000 members who subscribe to a strict code of conduct that sets acceptable standards of commercial behaviour to provide additional peace of mind for home owners.
